The property is very comfortable and spacious. Our room was well furnished with a comfortable bed and a very good bathroom. The garden area is lovely and peaceful with good secure private parking. The hosts are really nice and super helpful and will do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We would definitely return to this property.

A town with a cool atmosphere, the château is worth visiting! The owner of the house was very friendly, and we got a yummy breakfast.

Good location in the small town, very close to the impressive chateau. The charming ground floor apartment was cozy and small and had everything we needed. The mini-fridge in the photos has been upgraded to a full size fridge which helps.
The breakfast was great and the host helpful and suggested some excellent places to visit on our bicycles.
The "cottage" is separate to the owners house with a shared courtyard area.
We would recommend to others.

Very comfortable and welcoming - a lovely courtyard to sit out in the sun with the sound of a waterfall. In the old part of town with the chateau a couple of minutes walk away.
Demeure de la Vignole is a 17th century residence located in the Loire Valley. It offers an indoor heated swimming pool carved into the rock, just 5 km from Fontevraud Abbey.

Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends/family. Whilst listed as a 3 star hotel, this place had 5 star service. We arrived later than anticipated and Yannick immediately arranged dinner for us in the nearby town and his wife even drove us there! They offered great advice on nearby attractions and places of interest, as well as places to dine, even booked them in for us. The breakfast was a great treat each morning, and the pool was amazing, although a little chilly we still swam for between 40-60 mins each time. Yannick was even kind enough to do a load of washing for us. Nothing was too much to ask, it was a great place to spend 4 nights and if given the chance we'd love to come back in summer!

Practically perfect - a lovely room; great care taken about sustainable sourcing of toiletries and so on; friendly staff; a splendid breakfast; access to the abbey after the public had left. A wonderful experience.
