Fantastic views and a lovely space to relax in. Well equipped to eat in if you choose to and watch a movie on their netflix, which was perfect for us when we arrived on a cold, wet late afternoon. Lovely fireplace, apartment warms up pretty well and the beds were nice and comfortable. It was a comfortable home away from home. Host was easy to communicate with. Parking at the front of the house made for easy access carrying our luggage up the stairs. I could have easily stayed here a night or two longer.

Location was great! Cabins were very nice, however, sorry there should be a covering for narrow window, not everyone appreciates the light of day when it happens! lol

This is an awesome little getaway place. Very private. It is located on an estate with lots of cabins, cottages and houses on a hill. But this one is at a little trail, end of the road , surrounded by trees and shrubs, so very private.
We were allowed to have our dog with us, without extra fee. The big deck is fully fenced and gated. It was so perfect for my dog to be outside.
There is also a fire pit and firewood.
The steller's Jay's came to visit us!
The cabin is cozy, but not tiny! We felt very comfortable, enough room to play with my small dog too.
The owner was friendly and answered questions quickly.
The kitchen has everything to have some quick, easy meals.
Heating is very effective. You can set the temperature by yourself. There is a PB backup fireplace.
Big TV with Netflix and other streaming.
You park right beside the entrance, very convenient.
Entering is quick and easy, the key is in a locked box.
I loved the owl theme. All kinds of things with owls on ☺️🦉

The town is beautiful and the surrounding beaches and parks are outstanding!
If you're planning an off-season visit, be aware that places don't open on regular hours or days. If you plan on eating in (at your stay) bring food from Victoria/Duncan etc. The Market has limited supplies and the staff was not too friendly.
The evening staff at Coastal Kitchen Cafe seemed upset that we came in 50 mins to closing, and treated us like they had better things to do. Food was overpriced and not a good value.

Great place for relaxing and getting in contact with nature.
Be aware that the small town has only one little grocery store with limited open hours, also few options of restaurants, but an awesome place to relax.

Small town for a first time visit and mostly just one night stay. I'd come back in the summer time to do more outdoor activities. It's easy to get around Port Renfrew and everyone is friendly.

We drove to Port Renfrew from Duncan.
We drove to Port Renfrew from Duncan. Make sure you stop at the Tourist Information building and talk to a helpful staff person. We were given a map of the Marine Circle Route that was extremely helpful.
The town is quaint and has breathtaking views. We had the delicious seafood chowder twice at the Renfrew Pub (excellent free wifi). There is little to no cell service, but wifi is surprisingly good.

Stayed in renfrew for one night, this is out second time...
Stayed in renfrew for one night, this is out second time coming to stay as we love it here. Botanical beach is amazing, so cool to walk around. Theres loads of hikes to do, there is also boat trips if you are interested. It is a very small place so you may not be able to get everything you need here so bring supplies. There is a general store a gift shop and a pub. The pub is pricey but the portions are incredible. You also need a car to come here as everything is fairly far.
The cottage was absolutely perfect for a getaway to Port Renfrew and the Pacific Rim/Juan de Fuca area. We could walk to several eateries. The view from both rooms was beautiful. The unit has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and parking pad. The smart TV was easy to operate. The wifi worked well. Communication about check-in was clear and contained the wifi info as well so we could use it as soon as we arrived. The host was incredibly easy to reach and went out of her way to help out with a couple questions.
Port Renfrew is wild, it is great, and it is small. The cottage is located at the center of Port Renfrew, even though it may not mean much due to the town's size. But it is very close to the restaurants. The cottage is within a large compound so it feels safe, parking is easy, right in front of the cottage. The cottage is very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped, which makes it very easy to cook. It matters when only 2 restaurants are open, and only until 7pm. Host is good with communication.
Absolutely amazing. I do not have any complain about this place. This is possibly one of the best (if not the best) place to stay in Port Renfrew. I have stayed in other places but this is definitely the best price/quality wise. It felt so relaxing being in the patio with the garden heater on and using the grill. The bed and the sofa/bed were very good, and the cabin was fully equiped. Honestly I am looking forward to stay here again in my next trip to Port Renfrew
Spectacular apartment overlooking Port Renfrew Bay. It was quiet and private and close to Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove. Cooking facilities were excellent, and the cupboards were stocked with good spices. PR has limited grocery stores so buy your groceries ahead of time. It is off the grid, which is the charm, but has decent Wifi. The decor is predominantly wood, with many beautiful exotic woods. It was a pleasure to be in these surroundings.
An amazing location, breathtaking views 😍
The property is very clean, comfortable and decorated nicely.
Although you don't meet the owner, they answe quickly to any question and the pre arrival instructions are very clear and helpful.
The fire pit is a great thing when you wanna chill before bed.
Don't forget to bring food and snacks with you.
I even took star trails photography as it's in an amazing surrounding with no light pollution.
The cabin was clean & cozy, the location was perfect! its close to the beach, hikes & restaurants. The cabin also offers view of the ocean from the balcony . The owners were also lovely & were very informative with all the things to do in & around the port renfrew area! My favorite part was the hot tub it was a big plus after a long day at the beach ! Would most definitely recommend & will be back!
Very cosy and private cabin
Well stocked kitchen so cooked a few evenings
Loved the outdoor fire pit and great to chill out in front of a campfire with a glass of red wine after a long day walking
Great location and near to all restaurants in Port Renfrew and many day walks
The owner is very helpful and went out of her way to make our stay amazing
Tilby's Rainbow cottage in Port Renfrew was incredible. So clean and comfortable, and a well stocked, functional kitchen. The water view is amazing and we used the bbq each night. Great spot for hiking in the Port Renfrew area. Short drive to Botanical Beach and Avatar Grove and Lonely Doug.
Nice facilities, decor and supplies. The owner had put some care into it - it feels like you are borrowing someone's cabin. Liked the propane fire pit - missed having a fire while camping (wood fire ban) so it was great to have one here. Did one of the puzzles - thanks.
Location was great . The bed was huge and comfortable nice bathtub and fireplace . It was really wet so we didn’t use the fire pit but it looked awesome great view. Good coffee and tea and everything we needed for light meals
The cabin was comfortable and I had a great one night's stay; the bathrooms were convenient and clean. The WiFi didn't reach the cabins and there is no cell service in Port Renfrew, so something to be aware of.
Rooms were warm, cozy, and cute. Worked for staying a single night before the West Coast Trail. Close proximity to the restaurants/food options, and really easy check in process.
