Days Inn by Wyndham Edmundston, hotel in Edmundston

Located just 1 minutes’ drive from the Trans-Canada Highway, the Days Inn by Wyndham Edmundston has views of the river valley and the surrounding New Brunswick countryside.

The room was standard, but fine for our family of 4. The breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed the pan cakes. Big parking. Just central to go to New Brunswick.

The place was easy to locate and the code that was emailed to us made it easy to enter. We brought food and prepared our own meal so did not visit any places in Edmunston. We used it merely as a stop over point for the night before continuing on our trip to Nova Scotia the next day. We would definitely stay there again.

Edmunston is a good break on the road between Nova Scotia and Montreal. The countryside around the town is attractive, and the people are very friendly. On a Monday night, however, it was difficulty to find a place to eat that wasn't fast food.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend it as a tour.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend it as a tour. I met an old man passing by and he was very kind. The hotel staff was also very friendly. Although the village itself is small, it is surrounded by paper mills, so the whole village smells strange and there are concerns about environmental pollution. Since the snow had not melted yet, it had accumulated a lot, so I was able to infer that there must have been a lot of dust in the air.

We only stopped over night while traveling thru.

We only stopped over night while traveling thru. Normally we drive from Ontario to our home near bathurst in 1 day, but we got a late start and decided to stop for the night and finish the trip home in the morning. I like that there are lots of restaurants, gas stations, etc in a small area. However, for travelers it's annoying that everything closes at 9 or 10. The streets are a bit difficult to navigate, especially in the dark. It's a beautiful area to drive through, mountains and rivers.

Didnt make it . Got lost and gps had no power left. I called hotel for directions and didnt get any help. He just said it's on your booking app but I had no phone data. They asked me to cancel hotel and ask for refund because it was past arrival time. I asked for refund and all I recieved was $20. We had to sleep on the side of the road with 2 dogs in the car til the gas station opened. Running out of gas trying to find the place. 11 hrs of travel at that point and no compassion from them.

This was the perfect room for our one night stay in Edmundston. There was a good restaurant right around the corner. It was really great to have laundry machines in the room - much needed after a lot of travelling! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and clean. The kitchen had everything we might need including the full size fridge. Parking was easy, well marked and right outside the door.

not much. The entire hotel is showing its age. the roof is missing shingles. the yard needs garbage pickup and the childrens play area is overrun in long weeds the furniture in the room is old and worm. the laminate floors were lifting in places, the bathroom is dated. tv is poor quality overall shouldn’t be paying more than $99 the building looks great in the pics but don’t judge a book by it’s cover

Checked in after 14 hours on the road. Check in was quick and easy. Reception was friendly and informative. Traveling with my dog and was given a ground floor room with patio access and parking. So convenient! Nice green space for my pup too which is always nice. Room was spacious and very clean. Hotel was quiet overnight and I had a great sleep. Would recommend and return to this hotel.

it was a bsmt apt. very clean and warm. felt home like. small kitchen. PERFECT shower - Nice hot water - especially after a long drive. Better than many 5 star hotels I have stayed at. It was perfect for a family of four and a dog. Not luxurious, but quaint. comfortable beds. it wd be a tad uncomfortable for tall individuals d/t low ceilings.

Good hotel if you are travelling from Montreal to NB and need to stay for one night somewhere to rest before continuing your journey. The room was pretty good and comfortable, and the price was reasonable, even if it was a last-minute option due to a snowstorm.
