The master chef made sure that we had an awsome stay, cooked really good food for us every morgning/night, grilled fish to not forget! And really helpful with everything. Room was very clean and the whole place was well orginized :) Glad we choosed/found this place for our stay, close to safari. We will def come back next time we visit Sri Lanka :)

Really beautiful property set in a perfect location. s Spacious and comfy rooms, and the private swimming pool was really enjoyable. The staff team are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble, they’re always on hand to assist. Would also recommend eating in the restaurant, we enjoyed lunch and an evening meal there and was very good. Thank you for a great stay.

The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The room was perfect and so comfortable after a long day on safari! Loved relaxing by the pool and reading on the sun deck listening to the wildlife! Bandara the food and beverage manager is truly a king of hospitality! He made us feel so welcome and accommodated all our needs including making delicious vegan meals! Raj is THE guide you need if you want to know facts about all the animals you see on the property and on safari. We were so impressed by his knowledge and his passion for wildlife.

Great guest house with a nice room and spacious bathroom. The location is great and the owners are incredible. Not only did they offer to pick me up from the bus station but also made sure to help me organize a safari and to pick nice restaurants to eat at. If you want to visit Yala National Park do yourself a favor and stay there!!!!

Great location, 30 min car ride from the Yala National Park. They organized a driver for the tour and prepared yummy take away breakfast for us! The staff was so helpful and kind, we especially liked manager Cassim who made sure that we felt really comfortable! We had two dinners and one breakfast and everything was really delicious, the place was clean and beds really comfortable. The room also has fan and AC - we don’t like AC but the silent fan ensured that we slept very well! The place has amazing views over the fields, beautiful garden, place to exercise, as I said, our favourite place so far!

Spread across 2 acres of lakefront property, Wild Lotus Yala is set in a quiet rural village close to Yala National Park. Wild Lotus is fully staffed and the rate includes services of a private chef, guests can order from a thoughtfully crafted menu. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The staff goes above and beyond thank you Justin & team). The room was massive, felt like a house - beautiful decorated and comfortable. The pool was gorgeous. We had the best safari driver - thank you Nelson! Food was delicious. Highly recommended!

The nearest airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International, 26 km from Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. My room was clean and spacious. But the best part of my stay was definitely the owner - funny and genuine. He took the time to show me the wildlife of his town and shared his love for birds with me. Definitely a highlight of my Sri Lanka experience.

Bike hire is available at this resort and the area is popular for cycling. The resort also offers car hire. Very clean room and bathroom. Everything was very clean. The host was very welcoming and received us with wood apple juice. The room was exactly as described, with a good AC working perfectly and hot shower. The room was spacious, the breakfast was good and enough to start the day. For the day with the safari, the host provided breakfast when getting back, which was very nice. The homemade dinner was very tasty and abundant. Also the host helped us to take the bus nearby the accommodation. Highly recommended if you go to Tissa and want a peaceful place to stay. The only minus could be that WiFi works well outside, in the room the signal is weak.
