Fantastic and very clean apartment. Had great appliances, including a washer and dryer. Great location as well.

They were very helpful and allowed for a late check out. They also had laundry facilities which is hard to find.

Found in an Edwardian building formerly home to the Anchor Line Shipping Company’s headquarters, this city centre aparthotel is inspired by a 1920s ocean liner. With original 1906 features, there are glazed tiles, terrazzo flooring, timber wall-panelling, fireplaces and even the original safes. We booked the room apartment on the 7th floor. It was excellent. The bedroom was very spacious with a comfortable bed. We had a living room with a small kitchen and quite a large balcony. This allowed us to have a nice dinner, enjoying the comfort of our room and taking a look at the city from high. The bathroom was OK. The hotel is very close to the train station and to the city center. Wifi was very good and stable I was very happy with our stay

At the guest house, all rooms have a desk, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. All guest rooms at Birchwood Guest Lodge come with a seating area. The rooms gave out a unique atmosphere of coziness. We liked the unique way the beds were turning from sofas to beds, but we would also love it if they were a little wider. The room was spacious enough, and so was the internal private bathroom. The owners seemed friendly and caring.
