Danny and Patty are wonderful hosts. They were very cheerful, warm and helpful, and I felt like I had family in Ushuaia. They were very helpful in giving advice on what to do in Ushuaia, and telling me about restaurants, places to go, and how to get there. I also ordered breakfast and dinner, and both were very delicious. The room and bathroom are always very clean and comfortable. It's on a hill a little away from the main street, but you can get there in about 5-10 minutes by taxi, and it's in a great location with a panoramic view of the city. I stayed for 3 nights, but I was so impressed by the wonderful home, the family, and the beautiful city that I wanted to stay longer. It's worth more than just a stay.

The atmosphere and people were exceptional! One night we had an ad-hoc, family-style BBQ during which Leo assisted us with the purchase and proper grilling techniques for the local Argentine meat. The hostel is a roughly 40-minute walk from the trailheads for a couple highly recommended day hikes as well. While the location is outside of the tourist center, you can catch the colectivos for free into town or take an Uber for around 2.000 pesos. Overall, it was a warm and familial environment with guests from many countries alongside Argentineans where you can comfortably cook yourself a nice meal and share a drink with other guests. For me it was a perfect stay in Ushuaia. A local house where you feel the atmosphere and coziness and also have wonderful views from room, kitchen and the garden. Located near the intersection of roads to the town center, airport and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Not in the city center but I see it as an advantage because it's more quiet and there's more space. The center is just 2 km away which is either a very cheap Uber ride (1-2 EUR at the time when I was staying) or just around half an hour of a nice walk. The hosts were very nice and helpful with everything, I enjoyed my stay a lot and wish I stayed longer.

Awesome place! Gabi, Flor and Maru are really nice. Breakfast with view to the city, the shore and the mountains. A lot of food (mate, coffee, chipa, cake, fruits, toasts with whatever you want (dulce de leche, ham and cheese, etc). You have place to store your equipment. The shower has excelent pressure and temperature. Heating in your room, which is kept very clean. Thanks for everything guys. It was really nice to stay at your place and get to know you :)

Only up the road from the Carrefour supermarket and the Western Union if you need to get money. The house has a lot of character with antigüe furniture, books and paintings. Cheap and ideal if you prefer not to stay in a hotel or hostel and like your own space and with a feel at home. Very quiet and about a 30 to 45 min walk from the main center of Ushuaia. The supermarket is a 10min walk away and there are taxis outside

We also got a room with a stunning view! Breakfast was complete and hotel very clean. The hotel is not located in the city center, but that for us was a plus as we appreciate the quietness. Hotel offers free transfers to-from the city at pre-appointed hours and moving around with a taxi is easy and cheap, when needed.
