Amazing place to spend Xmas Eve. Extraordinary environment and views. Sky at night is spectacular. Food was excellent and the level of care put into lunch, dinner, drinks and general comfort by the hosts Marcus and Cecelia was really appreciated. They had some champagne for bringing in Xmas Day. Would love to go back in the future. Hike there are back is really beautiful and unlike other hikes in the area. Office staff that help coordinate you visit were also helpful - they ordered a ride at the bottom of the trail on Xmas Day for me.

La Quinta is a little slice of heaven in the quaint town of El Chaltén. We cannot say enough about their help finding the best hikes, packing lunches, and providing the most relaxing spot a little outside of town (but not too far like some estancias we looked at!). It is a truly family run business and we 100% will be back!!

Quiet at night WiFi is a bit slow but always works, which is good for Chaltén. Above average breakfast, with proper bread, eggs, cheese and ham etc. Just missing oatmeal or something other than sugary kids' cereal. Claudia is super nice and helpful. Helped me store my luggage for 3 days while I went hiking, despite me not coming back there afterwards (if only... it was full)

The accommodation is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The shower is very good: big enough, sufficient and constant water pressure and the water drains well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for eating and cooking, it even has 2 sinks. However, there is no oven. The room has a good size for 2 people.
