Breakfast on the beach was great. Both the place, quality and taste. Staff not so much, we had to wait a long time to be served and long time for the coffee/juice to arrive. But still, I would recommend breakfast. We also had it for free because of my Genius level.

    The resorts are great, and food generally good.

    The resorts are great, and food generally good. It would absolutely be possible to spend an entire week onsite and never leave. We chose to do activities one day and the next day hang out, which gave us the perfect amount of doing things and relaxing. All Dominicans we interacted with, whether they spoke my native tongue, English, or not, were helpful, friendly and fun. Be careful when shopping at small independent shops with currency, especially if you are quoted in US dollars and pay in DR pesos, I actually paid more than twice what I was told the item would cost, and was asked for almost 4 times the agreed upon amount. It was my fault for not checking exchange rates on the spot. I, however, feel extremely privileged and do not hold any ill feelings, while deceitful, it may be very helpful to the seller, and didn't hurt me at all. Would love to come back to Punta Cana anytime!

    Absolutely beautiful beaches.

    Absolutely beautiful beaches. Lovely Caribbean vibe on the beaches, with loungers, music, great fresh juice and fresh fruit cocktails. Outside the beaches it wasn’t our favourite place to visit, but for a beach vacation we definitely recommend it.

    I booked a stay in White Sands at Residential Carey from January 1-April 30. The complex and grounds are beautiful Unit C1-2 is nice but it is tired. The pictures are not an accurate reflection of the unit. The curtains are dirty, the furniture is worn, uncomfortable and dirty. The mattresses are horrible. We have been battling termites and roaches. Gregory the care taker has been very attentive however the bug problem is still ongoing. There is no clubhouse and the shuttle is a hit and miss. The driver takes a siesta from 12-2 daily. There is really nothing to do in the area and if you have any mobility issues forget about walking. The local bus service is great. It only costs a $1 and it takes you to Jumbo to get your groceries. One month would have been more than enough here. I did spend a weekend and at Cap Cana and I can’t say enough about how beautiful that place is. I loved it there. Lots to do and so many great restaurants.

    We stayed in Bravaro Beach area.

    We stayed in Bravaro Beach area. The beaches were super pretty! The water was gorgeous and clear (you could see fish swimming nearby from the surface). A good bit of seaweed, but not enough to be super annoying. There are vendors that will come up to you on the beach, but they aren’t super pushy (especially if you know a bit of Spanish)

    The beaches and sea views are awesome.

    The beaches and sea views are awesome. People are very kind and proactive. Negative: Be very careful at the airport! We almost got conned by an "exclusive" cab service. Luckily there was a very kind Tourist Policeman who helped us get our money back, and choose a professional transportation service.

    We were in Aquamarine Adults Only. The hotel looks like after a refresh, but it looks perfect. Great huge room, comfortable bed, very clean. The outdoor areas are also very well maintained and clean. We love staying on the beach, but for several years Sargassum algae has been a problem on all the beaches in this area. Everything possible is being done to clean them from the beach, but it is difficult. So we stayed at the pool, which is great. The staff is not perfect, but everyone is very nice and smiling. It is important !

    Breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing, space for lunch and breakfast is less than in Catalonia All inclusive, but they serve tea in the teapot inside just the cup in usual Catalonia all inclusive. You can use infrastructure of the all inclusive also. Royal bavaro is more premium, calm than the 2nd Catalonia hotel. Same time it is less "young and fun", and probably more quiet. Free printer, free fresh juices on the beach, free food room delivery all day, it is very nice hotel and it costs every dollar that you pay for it

    - Amazing location, around 30-40 mins by Taxi from Punta Cana airport. - Amazing beach with lots of palms and convenient on the beach bars, exactly what we expected. - Great staff in the restaurants, bars. - A lot of food choices in the main all inclusive restaurants with meat/seafood and vegetarian options. Not so good choices with restaurants that you need to book, most of them don't have vegetarian dishes at all.

    We had a layover of 2 nights in the Dominican republic with flight in and out from Punta Cana. Sol Caribe Hotel was for us a perfect accommodation for our short stay with an excellent value for money. Very comfortable and clean room. Very friendly people and positive vibes. Abundant food for breakfast - I loved the pancakes. We spent our full day at the beach which can be reached easily by the walking.

    The hotel was new and beautiful. It was right on the beach with several pools (wading, 3 foot, and full depth pool), 2 swim up bars, and water slides for both the kids and adults. The kids club was great and my 5 year old loved going. There are also many activities to do in the day and evening. I also really liked that they had so many restaurants. Housekeeping was very friendly and thorough.

    The hotel is true luxury, with all the amenities you need and very comfortable beds with very nice soft sheets. The front desk manager was REALLY helpful too and communicated everything clearly and went way out of his way to be accommodating. Very kind person. Thoroughly impressed and would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place near the airport in Bavaro Punta Cana.

    Amazing buffet and a la carts restaurants, it didn’t feel like an all inclusive at all, I felt I was at a very expensive restaurant. The staff is super nice and always ready to help out and make sure your stay is the best it can be. Loved the pools and waterpark. Overal the best all inclusive I’ve been to in de Dominican Republic and I’ve been to quite a few. Definitely coming back again!

    I liked the staff they were super friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the lazy river. The activities were great by/ in the pool area . There is a local fish / vendor market 2 mins from the resort on the beach. N safety was paramount. The security maintain the people ( vendors or hotel guest ) off the property. N they actually paid attention to what is going on.

    Cleanest hotel we’ve ever been to with all the facilities you need, breakfast is amazing. Sandy took great care of us by showing us the finest beaches and good restaurants, she made a lot of effort to make us feel like home.     Barebones but surprisingly comfortable, safe and quiet hotel right in the area where all the bus stations are in Punta Cana. It isn't on the beach but it is definitely cheap, worthwhile on a budget plus many stores and restaurants all around. Thmbs up!
