My stay at Country Retreat at Judd's Folly exceeded all expectations. I noticed previous reviews criticised the garden view. Well, you simply have to step outside & the rolling countryside is directly in front & to the side, complete with sheep so it was beyond calm & peaceful!!
The interior of the room was also exceptional!! The bed was extremely comfortable & the fridge meant it was possible to keep fruit & drinks cool.
And it was extremely handy to have an ironing board, iron & hairdryer provided. Plus ample storage space for clothes & really comfortable chairs to relax inside plus table & chairs outside.
And the room was cleaned every day to a really high standard so it was a delight to return to each evening!!
The staff were all really friendly & extremely helpful too!!
And special mention must go to the exceptional breakfast!! The choice of continental & full Engish plus everything in between was amazing. It was like dining in a traditional farmers kitchen each morning. I enjoyed the lightest & tastiest scrambled eggs each morning freshly cooked to order. Plus there was every variety of milk ie oat, soya etc plus gluten free bread for allergies etc. And delicious fresh berries & assorted fruits. To be honest, a mere written description doesn't do it justice - it was a visual treat for the eyes each morning!!
And the whole setting is so calming & peaceful as mentioned woth it being set in the heart of the Kent Countryside.
And I also noticed a comment ref the aesthetics, yes, you do drive to the side of the property & like any well maintained & expanding business you might see signs of work but this absolutely does not detract from your stay, the comfort of the room, the beauty of the surroundings & fantastic staff!!
Oh & a sandwich from the bar is an absolute treat too!! Incredible size, delicious filling & portion of French fries on the side.

Breakfast was good and location is very convenient. I had misplaced my glasses. Staff was courteous enough to find it and send it back to me.
Faversham, is steeped in historic buildings. Some areas are pedestrianised. On Saturday there is a wonderful local market. It is an easy, interesting town to walk round and we printed of the town walk before we went which was interesting to wander round. Plenty of parking in the town, both short and long stay at reasonable rate. Most seem to use the Ringo app. The Sheppard Neame Brewery visitor centre and brewery are in the heart of the town and worth a visit. (book tour). The is also a gunpowder trail walk that you can download and follow (the gunpowder mills played a significant part in the towns history). Well worth walking down to the Quay where there are further retailers (small artisan type) and toilets/refreshments.

Faversham is a lovely town with an interesting history and amazing different architecture. Lots of little shops and cafes and charter markets. St Marys Church has 14th century wall paintings on a pillar.
Excellent eateries too - they are popular so be sure to book an evening meal!

Lovely town, loved the old buildings and that fact it was easy to walk around. The Albion Tavern by the water was excellent as was the Spice Lounge Indian restaurant in the town. Convenient for local trips to Canterbury and Whitstable Beach.

Faversham is a very pretty historical town.
Faversham is a very pretty historical town. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants and it is wthin easy reach of the Kent coast by bus, train or car. Most pubs and restaurants are dog friendly and on the people are very friendly. Eating out varies from pub grub to one expensive but recommended restaurant The Phoenix. Prices suit all purses.

Love Faversham, but unfortunately I came home having got bedbug bites, so not very happy as you could imagine, also they never contacted us regards no breakfast, so we had to eat breakfast on Weatherspoons.
So I always rate a hotel on the comfy ness off the bed and the breakfast, well anyone who does the same let me tell you 100% best in the area. I have visited a few places in the Canterbury area as I often drop my daughter off to uni and this place is so much nicer than the rest. Bed is supper comfy breakfast has everything and more and is delicious. Rooms are spacious and very clean, beautiful surroundings. It's definitely a hidden jem. I mean I have already booked my next stay ☺️
I stayed at CreekSide B & B for 9 nights, during which I was made extremely welcome by Sharon, whose attention to detail and kindness far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this B & B to anybody wishing to visit Kent as apart from having an amazing host, the location is beautiful, and a short walk into the middle of Faversham. I will definitely be returning to CreekSide when the opportunity arises.
We loved everything about The Sun Inn. The decor, the rooms, the food, the location everything was spot on. The car park nearby is very handy and reasonably priced. The breakfast was excellent, good quality ingredients cooked well. The food in the restaurant was good also and we loved the outdoor seating area in the evenings. The staff were very friendly and Brendan made sure we had everything we needed.
I was very impressed with Creek Side B and B.
The house is spacious and comfortable. It has a huge balcony overlooking the creek. It made all my stay very pleasant.
My room was cosy. Comfortable bed and very clean beddings and towels.
Sharon is a welcoming and generous host who makes extra efforts for her guest to feel comfortable.
I will definitly return.
The Sun Inn is a fab little pub hotel. We stayed over the New Year break for a friend's wedding and it couldn't have been a better pick. We were right in the middle of town and the room was lovely with an iron and all of the facilities we needed. The hotel restaurant was charming and the food delicious. I whole heartedly recommend a stay!
We stayed in a room with a golf view and it was such a lovely view! The decoration inside the hotel was beautiful and our room came equipped with everything we may need for a one night stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pool area was lovely, we went in the evening and it wasn’t busy at all. Drinks and food were amazing.
Such a lovely pub and hotel! You could tell it had been recently refurbished and had so many nice small touches, including a Dyson fan, kitchen aid kettle, & lovely white company soap/shampoo/conditioner. The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious. The staff were also so friendly and welcoming!
Well appointed, had everything we needed plus more. Very comfortable space for our group. Our car battery died during our stay and the hosts gave us a jump start and made sure we had a contact number in case it died again. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay here again.
The apartment was clean, spacious, good facilities and the location was perfect.
Debbie our host was very friendly, attentive and very informative about things to see and do in and around Faversham. A great weekend, would stay here again.
It's an old pub and rooms are full of character, not like your perfect but clinical chain hotels. Owners were charming and breakfast was very good, so was dinner. Certainly I would go there again.
A lovely, cosy property, very well designed for utmost comfort. The bed was extremely comfortable - just like in a luxury hotel. Enjoyed having the AC since the weather was quite warm.
The hotel is centrally located in Faversham, and is very close to the railway station. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean. There was a supply of tea and coffee in the room.
The location and quietness of area was great. Hosts could not have been more accommodating and kind. It was clean and had all we needed. We would love to go again.
We have enjoyed our time in Faversham very much. Our accommodation was perfect for our needs. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and conveniently located.
