Stay Margaret River, hotel in Margaret River Town

Stay Margaret River offers spacious guest rooms in a quiet garden setting. This 4-star hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Margaret River region.

Stay Margaret River is an old establishment but was very clean and the rooms were basic but comfortable. I think management may have changed recently and the new managers are in the process of updating the facility. The restaurant was excellent with great service. The location is ideal for the township and in close proximity to wineries.

One of my favourite places to visit!

One of my favourite places to visit! I live in the city (Perth) and not nearly enough people are as friendly and conversational as they are in Margaret River. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and you’re surrounded by nature. You must visit the Margaret River Chocolate Company, Wow Illusions, and the Margaret River Sweet Shop. And make sure to stop in at Cowaramup on the way through! Some of the roads are a little iffy, but majority have either been updated or are getting updated as we speak.

Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore.

Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore. Incredible wineries, breweries and a great distillery to check out. Excellent food options, and unbelievable coastal vistas. Go bush walking, enjoy the beach! Only downside is things can be a bit pricier than in a big city - ie: groceries, meals out etc. But that's a fairly minor complaint, and something to be expected.

This is a lovely town, but be aware it really exists just because of tourism. The vast majority of shops are there to support that, so gift shops aplenty! It’s worth a visit for an afternoon, or stay there, or locally, as a base, but in itself is rather limited.

Great little town, easily walkable, with many good places to eat and drink. Lots of good shops too. Close to lovely beaches, forest walks and many wineries. A very good location for those that enjoy the outdoor life and good food.

The minute we walked in the door we knew it was an excellent choice. Travelled with friends and the cottages were separate but adjoining, in a quiet location outside Margaret River. Well maintained grounds with a lake and lawns, paths to walk through the property. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to do your own cooking. Ours were single bedroom Studio type cottages but there are also two bedroom houses for families. All spaced apart throughout the property, very private. We are already planning to go back. 15 acres of happiness and peace.

Everything from the facilities, to the staff, to the location was perfect. The staff were so friendly upon arrival, the gentleman showed us the tourist brochures and engaged in conversation, offering recommendations. When we entered the room, we were blown away by how clean and fresh the room was. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was lovely to sit out on the verandah and watch the parrots while we had a coffee. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone wanting to stay in Margaret River.

Kieren spoilt us each day with a beautifully cooked breakfast to start our day of exploring Margaret River. In addition, we had a wide range of breakfast food including yoghurt and fresh fruits, fresh bread, home-made muesli, coffee/tea and fruit juices. Lisa made sure we felt at home at her guest house and had plenty of local knowledge of the best places to visit and eat. Thanks for making our stay so special, Lisa and Kieran!

The accommodation was spacious and clean and had a nice playground for kids right outside of our house. They have animal feeding every alternate day, which allowed our kids to experience the true meaning of farm stay. The stay was just a 10-minute drive away from Margaret River main town, which makes it easy for us to get the groceries needed. The house comes fully equiped with stove, oven, grill, and microwave.

This is a very spacious, comfortable house that is close to the shopping area of Margaret River and a very easy walk. There is a great range of shops, restaurants and bars in town so lots to see and do. The beach is just 10 minutes drive to a world class sandy beach with crystal clear waters. The days were warm and it was wonderful sitting in the shaded deck area on the outdoor lounge.

This is a beautiful, very well-maintained and very clean property in a very picturesque setting, only about 5-10mins drive from the heart of Margaret River. There was minimal fuss with check-in, check-out and anything else. Breakfast was simple but exactly what's needed and you can choose to have it out on the veranda which makes for a lovely start to the day.
