For a family of 4 I should have gone for a bigger cottage.

Views from the cottage. Proximity the beach. Nice and quiet surroundings.

Was all fine , just the price was a bit high (but probably our problem, we arrived late and left early and were not able to fully enjoy).

Very nice suite and overall beautiful house with great furniture and spirit. Well equipped and very kind hosts.

I think if there was a little light up solar sign or marker to help find the property at night it's a dark road and a dark area.

The location is out of the way and a tropical hide away. Could hear the forrest and the ocean at night as well as see the ocean from the cozy front porch. The farmers market at the end of the street was amazing.

It would have been great to have more of a kitchen in the house. There was one outside, so we found ourselves borrowing the kitchen appliances and bringing them in for more private cooking.

Absolutely love that it was across the street from Kahenna Beach! The location is awesome and it's very cute :-)

Some humidity in the room which would not evacuate because of the rain in the area during our stay. But the washing machine and the dryer were very helpful.

Very cute individual cottage in the middle of the jungle, clean and comfy, with everything we needed. The location is a little remote but we loved the experience! Beautiful view with dolphins coming playing and crossing the sea in the mornings.

Nothing about the property, just the area is remote and we couldn’t find food after we went to see the volcano (it wasn’t even 8:30 pm) or when we woke up early bc of time change (we waited until after 8am and wound up buying food from a bodega nearby).

it’s the cutest beach house and it’s right across from a black sand beach. Granted you have to hike down to it, but it’s still beautiful.

The only fault was that it seems as if you can get to the beach easily. This is not the case its a steep stairway down. You can walk up the hill and there is another location that's easier but from the pictures online it looks as thought its direct access and its not. So be prepared for that. We couldn't go down because my daughter has down syndrome and hip problems the view was still nice.

Loved the ocean view and the location across from Black Sand Beach! It was clean and comfortable. The mini balcony and the coffee and shower stuff was a great bonus. We had an great time and absolutely will stay with them again when we get back to the big island.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. But we were surprised at how humid it was on this side of the island after spending several days in Kona.

This adorable cottage is just as advertised, large living space, beautiful balcony that looks right out to the ocean and a coconut tree grove. It is right across road from a black sand beach, which is by far the finest black sand we saw on our trip. The surf was pretty strong but fun to bounce in the waves. The location here was beautiful and out of the way from city life, but easy enough to go for dinner or supplies in the town of Pohoa. We would definitely stay here again.
